4 day tour from Errachidia to Marrakech

Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Pickup from your accommodation in Errachidia. We begin our journey toward Rissani, making stops to enjoy panoramic views of the Ziz Valley palm groves. We pass through Erfoud to reach the village. After a short rest, we will set off on a camel trek to witness the sunset over the dunes. Upon arrival at the camp, we will settle in and enjoy dinner in traditional tents (jaimas), accompanied by Berber music under the starlit sky.

Day 2: Merzouga – Desert Activities

After breakfast, we set out on a desert excursion following the original “Paris-Dakar Rally” route. We will visit desert nomads to share tea with a local family and see the oasis where films like *Sahara* (starring Penélope Cruz) were filmed. We will also visit Khamlia, known as the “village of the blacks,” a community settled by people originally brought from Sudan. After lunch, our next adventure begins: a camel safari into the heart of the dunes to witness another spectacular sunset. Tonight will be special; we sleep in typical Berber tents and enjoy dinner to the sound of drums under a starry sky. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Todra Valley – Ouarzazate

We wake up early to witness the beautiful spectacle of the sunrise over the sea of dunes. After breakfast, we return to the village by camel. We then continue to Rissani, the first Imperial City of Morocco, to visit its legendary market—the largest in the south. We then depart for Tazzarine, passing through Alnif in the heart of the Mader basin, continuing to the Todra Gorges, the Dades Valley, the Rose Valley, and the Skoura oases. Arrival in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

Breakfast and departure toward Marrakech. First, we head to the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We visit the Kasbah where many famous movies have been filmed, such as *Asterix & Obelix*, *Babel*, *Sahara*, *Kingdom of Heaven*, and *Gladiator*. Afterward, we follow the route back to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (the highest pass in the Atlas, at an altitude of 2,260 m), offering spectacular views. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon and end of the route.
