3 Day Tour from Ouarzazate to the Desert

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Todra Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, we depart for the Draa Valley, where we will see one of the longest rivers in Morocco. We will make several stops to admire the charming adobe Kasbahs and the natural wonders of the Draa Valley. After lunch, we arrive at the breathtaking dunes of Merzouga. We will enjoy a traditional tea of hospitality while we rest. Later, we will enjoy a walk through the dunes to witness the sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Desert Route, Camel Trek & Night in the Camp

Our first stop is the village of Khamlia to watch a live demonstration of Gnawa music. Then, we head to the abandoned village of M’fis and discover small hamlets located far from civilization. We will also visit a nomad family and share tea with them. At sunset, we will mount camels to trek through the dunes for an unforgettable sunset and spend a magical night in the desert at our camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – N’kob – Agdz – Ouarzazate

After an enchanting sunrise over the desert dunes, we have breakfast before returning to the village to visit the ancient city of Rissani—the birthplace of the founder of the Alaouite dynasty—where we will visit his mausoleum. Afterward, we cross through the striking rock formations and magnificent landscapes of the Draa Valley, the largest valley in Morocco and an oasis of countless palm trees. We head to Agdz before reaching Ouarzazate in the late evening, marking the end of our services.
