2 day Tour from Errachidia to the desert
Pickup from your accommodation in Errachidia. We begin our journey toward Rissani, making stops to enjoy panoramic views of the Ziz Valley palm groves. We pass through Erfoud to reach the village. After a short break, we set off on a camel trek to witness the sunset over the dunes. Upon arriving at the camp, we will settle in and enjoy dinner in traditional tents (jaimas), accompanied by Berber music under the starlit sky.
We depart for Rissani to visit the mausoleum of the founder of the Alaouite dynasty and the local market, then continue to Erfoud to visit a fossil exhibition. We head west through the Jorf palm grove and Tinjdad before crossing Goulmima and its beautiful valley. We will make several stops to enjoy the scenery before arriving back in Errachidia.

We recommend starting the tour in the morning so you can arrive at the dunes in time for sunset. If your flight arrives late, we can adapt the route so that you spend the first night in Errachidia or in the village of Merzouga.
It is approximately 130 km, about a 2-hour direct journey, but with our scenic stops and visits, you can fully enjoy the trip.
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a headscarf, and comfortable shoes are essential. At night, even in summer, the temperature in the desert can cool down.
