2 Day Tour from Fez to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud – Rissani – Night in the Desert

We will pass through Ifrane, a charming residential center, before reaching the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. After crossing Midelt, you will encounter striking landscape contrasts as the road traverses the Middle Atlas and leads us into the Great South. You will be able to admire the traditional adobe architecture, vast palm groves, and distant Kasbahs. After a few hours of travel, you will arrive at the famous “Gateway to the Desert.” From this point on, there is no turning back—the real adventure begins. With a marvelous view of the Merzouga dunes, you will enjoy authentic Berber tea at the hotel before immersing yourself in the magic of the sands. Witness a breathtaking desert sunset over the fine golden dunes—a moment you won’t be able to resist photographing. You will end the night with a delicious dinner, accompanied by the rhythmic sound of desert drums and castanets.

Day 2: Merzouga – Tinghir – Boumalne – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After returning to Merzouga on dromedaries, showering, and having breakfast, we will head to the primary city of the region, Rissani, to visit its renowned local market. We will continue our journey toward Tazarine and cross the “Valley of a Thousand Palm Groves” in the Draa Valley, home to typical Berber villages. We will make several stops at panoramic viewpoints for photos, pass through the village of Agdez, and cross the Anti-Atlas mountains, arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
