2 Day Tour from Marrakech to Essaouira
Departure from your hotel toward the Atlantic coast, crossing the Chichaoua region. This is the only place in the world where you will see the famous goats performing acrobatics atop the Argan trees. We will visit a local Argan oil cooperative before arriving in ancient Mogador (Essaouira). After a lunch of fresh fish at the port, you will have free time to explore the Skala, the Jewish quarter (Mellah), and the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah Museum. We recommend enjoying the sunset with a tea in the main square before dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional Riad within the medina.
After breakfast, we will head to Sidi Kaouki beach, a paradise famous for its water sports and tranquil atmosphere. You can enjoy a walk or a camel ride along the shore, emulating the ancient caravans. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit a cedar and Thuya wood cooperative—the area’s most iconic craft—before beginning our return journey to Marrakech.

Thanks to the trade winds, Essaouira enjoys pleasant temperatures all year round, making it the perfect retreat when the heat in Marrakech becomes too intense. It is also a world-renowned destination for surfing and windsurfing enthusiasts on beaches such as Sidi Kaouki.
The city is famous for its woodwork made from thuja, a local root with a unique aroma and grain. The souks of Essaouira's medina are considered some of the cheapest in Morocco, making it the ideal place to buy wooden souvenirs, spices, and high-quality argan products.
Absolutely! The journey is much shorter than the one through the desert (170 km), making it less tiring for children and adults alike. Activities such as watching goats in trees and camel rides on the beach are usually the favorites among the little ones.

Solo teníamos un fin de semana y este tour fue perfecto. Dormir en el desierto es algo que hay que hacer una vez en la vida. El guía fue súper amable y el 4x4 muy cómodo.
